The Board of Regents is a management committee that oversees Venue Management School (VMS) and Leadership Institute (VMS-LI) to develop current and future management personnel and to perpetuate a standardized curriculum/body of knowledge for the venue management industry. VMS-LI includes the development opportunity for networking relationships amongst the students allowing for future business and career connections after the school.

Venue Management School (VMS) is a two-year program which presents multiple topics to give students a broad understanding of the venue management industry.  Subjects presented cover many aspects that apply to all sectors of the venue management industry.

Venue Management School Leadership Institute (VMS-LI) is an advanced educational program of IAVM to develop current and future venue management leaders and to expand those individuals’ universe of management and leadership skills.
