Mission:
The committee represents and advocates for the global interests of the arena community, with a focus of working with staff to encourage and equip professionals in the discipline of arena operation and management.
Roles and Responsibilities of Committee Members:
- Work with IAVM staff to provide arena venue specific programming as requested.
- Provide assistance with IAVM’s advocacy work that may include petitioning/contacting their respective elected municipal/state/provincial/federal representative. IAVM staff understands due to restrictions placed on them by either their management company or board, they may not be able to contact elected officials.
- Provide content for VP Magazine around arena topics and write one or more blog post(s).
- Each individual committee member will begin or continue one thread on VenueNet each month.
