Mission:

The committee represents the interest of amphitheaters and fairgrounds members and constituents and provides educational programming on amphitheaters/fairgrounds venue-related topics at meetings and conferences. The committee assists the staff by representing the global interests of the amphitheaters and fairgrounds’ industry.

Roles and Responsibilities of Committee Members:

1. Work with IAVM staff to provide amphitheater and fairground venue specific programming as requested.
2. Provide assistance with IAVM’s advocacy work that may include petitioning/contacting their respective elected municipal/state/provincial/federal representative. IAVM staff understands due to restrictions placed on them by either their management company or board, they may not be able to contact elected officials.
3. Provide content for VP Magazine around amphitheater and fairground topics and write one or more blog post(s).
4. Each individual committee member will begin or continue one thread on VenueNet each month.
