We ensure that necessary and relevant research is being done for the industry to support members and IAVM in their objectives.
Indicators of Success
• Research will be timely and relevant to the industry.

• We will ensure our research agenda addresses the needs of the industry.

• Funding for new industry research.
• Funding for continual research.
• Using research in with partners and creating public awareness of the industry impact to the general public.
Education Support
Goal Statement
We provide means for members to participate in the various learning opportunities offered by IAVM to be well informed venue professionals.
Indicators of Success
• Members will have increased opportunities to participate and access IAVM education offerings.
• Recipients will share outcomes of their participation and value that the Foundation provided.
Strategies
• Support the expansion of access and engagement across in-person, virtual, and on-demand learning platforms to meet members where they are.
• Strengthen structured learning journeys that support career progression, credentialing, and leadership development.
• Reduce barriers to participation by offering scholarships and other support.
Tactics
• Scholarships for live and online education.
• Scholarships for certification funding.
• Review/establish guidelines for scholarship to be applied to various educational opportunities (in-person/online) as IAVM portfolio expands and evolves.
Innovation
Goal Statement
We support efforts of IAVM to invest in efforts that the association and industry need to advance the profession.
Indicators of Success
• New programs (i.e, New Live Education Program, Micro credential development, Funding for core publication for CVP/CVE, etc.) will address needs/gaps for members and the association.
Strategies
• Align annual plan with short and long term needs to achieve the strategic objectives.
Tactics
• Support IAVM and industry to raise funds for new initiatives and pilot programs.
