Mission:

The Allied Committee empowers and represents the interests of Allied members by serving as a vital connection between constituents and IAVM staff. Through proactive collaboration, we champion initiatives, foster meaningful partnerships, and create business opportunities that drive innovation, growth, and success for both Allied members and the broader IAVM community.

Roles and Responsibilities of Committee Members:

1. Understand the benefits of IAVM membership (https://iavm.org/membership/allied-membership) to effectively engage with Allieds and prospective members.
2. Attend and actively participate in the IAVM events to build connections with other Allied members.
3. Represent IAVM at other industry events, advocating for membership and opportunities.
4. Reach out to Allied members who have attended IAVM events but have not yet participated actively, encouraging them to become more involved.
5. Inform non-members about the benefits of Allied membership, including ROI, marketing opportunities, and volunteer roles.
6. Help current members understand how to maximize their membership benefits.
7. Advocate for Allied member ideas in committee meetings, through digital messaging, event education sessions, and other platforms. Ensure Allied member perspectives are acknowledged and represented.
8. Act as a sounding board for initiatives affecting Allied members, offering constructive feedback and ideas.
9. Identify and discuss potential candidates for the Joseph J. Anzivino Distinguished Allied Award. Submit nominations to HQ in early December each year.
10. Help identify unique opportunities for Allied members and ensure members are informed of these opportunities.
11. Identify potential Allied members and share with IAVM Membership Department (membership@iavm.org).
