Mission:

The mission of the Board of Governors (BOG) is to develop, plan and implement IAVM’s Senior Executive Symposium (SES) program.  BOG will focus on:

  • Providing educational opportunities to explore policies, principles, objectives, philosophies, and techniques in managing public assembly venues;
  • Expose students to new technologies and tools of management of public assembly venues operations and related activities;
  • Provide opportunities and challenges to participants for personal and professional development.

Roles and Responsibilities of Committee Members:Collaborate with IAVM staff and the Executive Education Committee to provide ideas for leadership education.

  1. Board of Governors are encouraged to attend Senior Executive Education.
  2. Provide content for VP Magazine around SES topics and write one or more blog post(s).
  3. Each individual committee member will begin or continue one thread on VenueNet each month.
