**To be eligible to apply, applicants must be a graduate of either VMS or the VMA Venue Management School.

2018 Package Rates

The rates for the 2018 school have been set by the Board of Regents. Package rates include lodging Saturday through Thursday, as well as breakfast and lunch Sunday through Thursday. All classes, study materials, coffee breaks, Sunday dine-around and graduation night banquet are included in the package cost.

Member package rates are $2,773.84 (for Lodge) or $2,283.25 (for Cottage) all taxes included. If you are an IAVM member at the time of registration, you must register under the Member rate.

Non-member package rates are $3,073.84 (for Lodge) or $2,583.25 (for Cottage) all taxes included. As a benefit to your registration, you will receive a 1-year IAVM membership that will begin in late summer 2018. 

**In the event you need to arrive early, the rate for the extra hotel night on Friday will be $164.71.


All payments must be submitted in U.S. funds. Payment is due in full by March 1, 2018. If you do not pay by the deadline, IAVM reserves the right to cancel your registration and assess the corresponding cancellation fee below. 

NEW 2018 Processess and Policies

In order to improve and streamline the student experience, IAVM has made the following changes to Venue Management School Graduate Institute 2018:
  • VMS GI is now a registration process instead of an application process. If there is space available, the system will automatically confirm your registration.
  • If the class is full, you may add yourself to the waitlist. Individuals on the waitlist will be confirmed as space becomes available.
  • IAVM Members are able to exclusively register through December 14, 2017.
  • As of December 15, 2017, both Members and Non-Members may register on a first-come, first-serve basis.
  • Payment is due in full my March 1, 2018.

NEW 2018 Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellation and refund requests must be made in writing. You may send your request via email to, via fax +1 (972) 906-7418 or via mail to IAVM Meeting Registration, 635 Fritz Drive, Suite 100, Coppell, TX 75019, USA.

Cancellation fees are calculated based on the full cost of registration and the date you submit your request, as described below:
  • Cancellation request submitted on or before March 1, 2018: $200 fee
  • Cancellation request submitted on or before May 1, 2018: $500 fee
  • Cancellation request submitted after May 1, 2018: 50% of order total

Photo Waiver

By attending this event, you grant IAVM the right to photograph you and your property. You also authorize IAVM to copyright, use, and publish said photographs with or without your name for any lawful purpose.
