2017 Foundation Legacy Project

A Day of Service at Glen Leven Farm
Transportation will be provided. Buses will depart from the Omni Hotel 5th Avenue entrance at 7:30am.

Glen Leven Farm is cared for and cultivated by The Land Trust for Tennessee, which works to protect public and private land to benefit all Tennesseans for generations to come.

The Land Trust conserves the historic Glen Leven Farm as a place that illuminates all aspects of their work – it is a historic, urban, working farm used as a recreational and educational resource for the community. Currently, large-scale environmental enhancements are underway at the Farm, including the creation of a permanent trail around the perimeter of the 65 acre property, as well as extensive waterway restoration and invasive species removal.

During this service event, volunteers will support these environmental enhancements through projects that include waterway clean-up, invasive species removal, and walking trail maintenance.

Hands On Nashville (HON) works to address critical issues facing the Middle Tennessee community through volunteer-centric programming, including the Corporate Partner Program (CPP), which connects businesses with opportunities to give back.
