Admissions & Tuition
Consideration for admission will be given based on the following criteria:
Executive or manager in a public assembly venue or associated Allied or support service.
Preference for admission will be given to those applicants with the following credentials:
- IAVM member
- Executive level position or experience (additional facility and professional information may be requested)
- VMS (Venue Management School) Graduate
- VMS GI (Graduate Institute) Graduate
Applications must be received by MARCH 15, 2017.
The fee includes accommodations for nights of May 15, 16, 17 and 18 (Monday through Thursday) at the Statler Hotel on the Cornell campus, continental breakfasts Tuesday-Thursday, lunches Tuesday-Thursday and dinner Tuesday and Thursday, and course materials.
Combined tuition and housing fee for the program (in US Funds) is:
- Member - Professional: $2600
- Member - Allied: $2650
- Non-Member - Professional: $2900
Non-Member - Allied: $3200
After March 15, 2017, applications are accepted if space is still available. An additional $250 is added to the fees listed above for late applicants.
For Non-Member rates: the Professional rate is available to individuals who manage or are actively involved in the management, administration, or operation of a public venue. The Allied rate is for individuals engaged in providing products, equipment, services, or attractions to public venues.
A non-refundable deposit of $500 is due within 60 days of application. The balance is then due 30 days before the start of the Senior Executive Symposium. Both the deposit and the balance can be paid by credit card or purchase order.
