VMS Scholarship Application Form
IAVM Regions are able to provide scholarships to the Venue Management School and Graduate Institute. The administration and award of the annual scholarships will be through the VMS Scholarship Committee or the Region. Scholarships are fully funded for the two-year VMS program and the Graduate Institute. For 2012, recipients will have tuition, room, and board (including applicable taxes) paid by the scholarship. Recipients or their employers must pay for travel, some meals and other incidental expenses.
Scholarship Eligibility
1. Those applicants that aren't awarded a scholarship MAY pay their own way
2. Scholarship applications come to IAVM WHQ and then they are sent to
the IAVM Region for approval
To be eligible, an applicant must need financial assistance.
An applicant must be employed in the public assembly venue industry or directly related business such as concessions, ticketing, crowd management and other venue service related companies. Preference, however, will be given to applicants employed in public assembly venues.
Applicant and/or his/her venue must commit to both annual sessions of VMS to include payment of the balance of costs (i.e.: transportation) not covered by the scholarship award. If the Scholarship recipient leaves the industry or IAVM Region, the Scholarship will be terminated.
