IAVM Resource Center - The Resource Center is an extensive research and video library that includes media on topics such as Crowd Management and Safety & Security.

CFE Program - Facility managers can earn the designation of Certified Facilities Executive, an honor that recognizes you as an expert in the profession and can accelerate your career.

Meetings
Annual Conference & Trade Show - The premier conference and trade show in the public assembly industry brings together over 1,000 top decision makers and over 300 companies providing products or services to the industry.

Facility Specific - IAVM has individual meetings surrounding the different types of facilities that it represents. The line-up includes conferences that focus on Arenas, Convention Centers, Performing Arts, and Stadiums.

Crowd Management - In our post 9-11 world crowd management is even more important than before, and IAVM has the answer. The International Crowd Management Conference gives members the most up to date information and techniques in dealing with large crowds.

Schools
PAFMS at Oglebay - This school is the foremost school on Public Assembly Management. A two-week course conducted over two years, Public Assembly Facility Management School at Oglebay gives facility managers the knowledge they need to succeed.

Senior Executive Symposium - SES is an intensive three-day program developed for IAVM by Cornell University's World Class Program in Executive Development for the Hospitality Industry. The curriculum addresses executive-level management issues such as strategic planning, negotiation and leadership skills.

Academy for Venue Safety & Security-AVSS is IAVM's newest school. This intensive, classroom style training offers the latest information and practical skills in life safety management.

Lobbying & Legislative Efforts
IAVM takes an active role in monitoring, influencing and interpreting laws and regulations that affect our industry, as well as providing legislative advisories. A full-time lobbyist is retained in Washington, D.C. on IAVM's behalf.
