Kris Williams, CAE Named Marketing Director for IAAM

Coppell, TX— Kris Williams, CAE, has been named Marketing Director for the International Association of Assembly Managers, Inc. (IAAM) -- the organization committed to the professional management of performing arts centers, stadiums, arenas, convention centers/exhibit halls and other venues, worldwide.

"I'm looking forward to joining the IAAM team," Williams says. "The association is ready to grow and expand, and I'm ready to help them grow their membership and events."

“Kris comes to us with great credentials in a variety of marketing and promotions experiences including social networking. She will begin her responsibilities with IAAM on June 1, 2010,” stated Dexter King, CFE.

Ms. Williams has more than 15 years in association management, communications, public relations, and project management experience, and has previously worked for the American Association for Respiratory Care and the American College of Emergency Physicians. In 2007, she earned the credential, Certified Association Executive, a credential that demonstrates essential knowledge in the field. Originally from Guthrie, Oklahoma, Ms. Williams graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma. She and her husband, Keck, moved to Dallas in 1995.
