IAAM Improves Website for Student Volunteers
Coppell, TX—The International Association of Assembly Managers,
Inc. is pleased to announce that for the first time in history, student
scholarship and volunteer instructions for the Annual Conference & Trade
Show are available on the IAAM website.
The new documents will be part of IAAM’s 83rd Annual Conference & Trade
Show webpage. Including the documents as part of the conference
information comes as a result of increased participation from students
at the Annual Conference & Trade Show and a need to provide a more
efficient outlet for the information.
By including the documents on the web, IAAM is targeting new generations
of technologically savvy students that would like to attend as
volunteers. The addition should provide a more convenient and efficient
process for both the interested students and the IAAM staff.
“The future of this association lies with the students that come and
gain knowledge from our industry leaders at our various meetings.
Opportunities to volunteer at our Annual Conference and Trade Show are
increasing because it is the highest attended event of the entire year,”
said, IAAM Executive Director, Dexter King, CFE.
IAAM hosts an average of 25 students each year and is looking to host
around 40 this year. Students chosen to volunteer this year are required
to work a minimum of 20 hours, and uphold the ethical and professional
standards of the association. All of the documents are currently
available online and can be accessed by
clicking here. All applications
must be post marked or received by May 2, 2008. The 83rd Annual
Conference and Tradeshow will take place in Anaheim, CA, July 25-29.
