IAAM to Host Daniel Pink as Keynote Speaker for the 83rd Annual Conference & Trade Show

Coppell, TX—The International Association of Assembly Managers, Inc. confirmed that author of A Whole New Mind, Daniel Pink will serve as this year’s keynote speaker at the Annual Conference & Trade Show, July 25-29, in Anaheim, CA.

Pink’s presentation will highlight how businesses in the near future will transition from an era of “left-brained dominance” to an era of demand for “right-brained” individuals. Workplaces that accommodate this change will thrive, suggests Pink. He takes this idea and elaborates on the six essential right-brained aptitudes that mark the fault line between success and failure, why high tech abilities are giving way to high concept and high touch talents, and why widespread search for meaning is perhaps the greatest recruiting challenge and largest business opportunity of our time.

Pink is a consultant and is the best-selling author of Free Agent Nation and New York Times best seller, A Whole New Mind. He has written various articles on work, business, and technology that have appeared in publications such as, The New York Times, Harvard Business Review, Fast Company and Wired, where he is contributing editor. In addition, Mr. Pink advises fortune 100 companies and provides analysis on CNN, CNBC, ABC and NPR. Prior to consulting, Mr. Pink served as Chief Speechwriter to Vice President Al Gore, aide to United States Secretary of Labor, Robert B. Reich, and economic policy staffer in the United States Senate.

The keynote presentation and opening session for the 83rd Annual Conference & Trade Show will take place at the Anaheim Convention Center, July 26th, 4:30-6:00 pm.
