International Association of Assembly Managers Announces Robert B.
Perry is Recipient for John E. Christison Award
Coppell, TX—The International Association of Assembly Managers
(IAAM) announces the selection of Mr. Robert B. Perry, President, Robert
B. Perry Associates, Inc. for the John E. Christison Award presented by
the Board of Governors for the IAAM Senior Executive Symposium (SES).
The award will be presented by Susette Hunter, Chair of the Board of
Governors (BOG) to Mr. Robert B. Perry at the IAAM Senior Executive
Symposium (SES) which takes place June 23 – 26, 2008 at Cornell
University in Ithaca, NY. This school began eleven years ago with the
generous support of the International Association of Assembly Managers
Foundation.
“Seldom in my career have I ever had the privilege of working with a
group of managers of such high caliber as those I have encountered with
IAAM. That the Board of Governors has decided to honor me with the
Christison award for the work I have done over the years with this
outstanding organization is both humbling and exhilarating. Humbling,
because one never feels that he has performed better than his peers;
exhilarating because this award comes from the IAAM - an organization
with such an exceptional culture of learning. My gratitude knows no
bounds!” Bob Perry stated at learning of the award.
Mr. Perry’s involvement with the Senior Executive Symposium (SES) began
with its inception in 1997 and he consistently receives the highest
ratings. One of his most popular topics was a management course of
lessons learned based on the Cuban Missile Crises that he presented at
IAAM’s 2007 Annual Conference. He will be a presenter at the 2008 Annual
Conference & Trade Show and will present another Senior Executive
focused topic, How to Succeed in Business –Revisited.
“The highest rated instructor every year at SES, Bob is the natural
choice to receive this award. His engaging teaching style, complete with
endless illustrations from his decades of experience, keep us hanging on
his every word,” said Susette Hunter, Board of Governors Chair.
Mr. Perry currently holds the position of Regular Guest Professor with
Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration. Mr. Perry, an
expert in the field of Human Resources Management, has led and lectured
on a world-wide basis.
The Christison Award is awarded to recognize an individual who has
unselfishly given his/her time and talents in such a way that it has
significantly contributed to the IAAM Board of Governors and/or the IAAM
Senior Executive Symposium (SES). The award was created in 2007 to honor
John E. Christison, CFE and was presented to him that year.
The Board of Governors will present the award to Mr. Perry on June 26,
2008 at the SES closing banquet. At this time, SES is full for the 2008
year; however, those senior executives who are interested in attending
can submit an application online at
