Guest Service Professional Program:

The Guest Services Professional (GSP) program was created to develop and recognize the professionalism of individuals in the guest services and crowd management disciplines of the venue management industry. The GSP program allows these professionals to gain knowledge and expertise in these disciplines that furthers their career in the industry.

The GSP is the only program of its kind within the industry and is only available through attendance and participation in the educational programming at the International Crowd Management Conference and other required educational programs.

This program provides public assembly and venue management professionals with fundamental educational and advanced programs and training in the areas of crowd management, staff training, emergency preparedness, guest services and applicable codes and regulations. Upon completion of the three-year program, the individual earning the GSP will be recognized as a specialist in guest services and crowd management for the venue management industry.

A GSP designation is earned by completing a three-year curriculum, which may be fulfilled consecutively or intermittently, by attending the International Crowd Management Conference and successfully passing a final exam.

In addition to completing the curriculum established by the International Crowd Management Committee, candidates must complete additional educational courses and training programs in associated disciplines including: development of a guest service program, staff training, safety and risk management, service recovery, tracking guest experiences, incident preparedness and crisis management, and designated on-line FEMA Incident Command classes.

Cowboys Stadium Experience: Application of Safety and Security Techniques:

10:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Experienced Professional participants spent a full day at Cowboys Stadium, reviewing game day operations for the Dallas Cowboys vs. Seattle Seahawks and acting as secret shoppers for the game day guest experience. Participants shared industry knowledge as an experienced professional in the venue management industry and provided feedback on stadium operations.
